I am in QLD , not S.A . Their high prices are from when the Liberal Party Flogged off the Generators and pole and wires to Asian investors . In Qld , the LNP were going to stop the .44 cents program , so I borrowed money from my home loan and put up a 1.5kw solar panel system with a 3 kW solar inverter . Then later , threw some more panels of the roof , to make 3kW . I did the DJOR on the solar system , and worked out great for me. I send half back to the grid , so I am "Greening the Dirty coal system" a little bit every day.
