I emailed Joe about Namibia's new ban on exporting Unprocessed Lithium Ore and he replied with this, today:
"Please note that the Phase 1 plan involves shipping a lithium mica concentrate – not ore – from Namibia to Abu Dhabi. This action by the Government aims to stop, predominately Chinese groups from exporting low grade unprocessed lithium mineralisation, with little to no benefit realised by the Government via royalties and/or tax receipts, for processing. Accordingly there is no impact to Lepidico’s development and operating plan".
