To be fair, I did not say that there was 100% acceptance of the disruptive technology of motor vehicles over horses and carriages.
I fully acknowledge that there was quite a deal of legacy horse-industry push-back abainst the newer tech.
What I did say, and indeed what you quoted from my oritginal post, was that there was no legislative mandate against horses, and that there was societal choice for individuals replacing their horses with motor vehicles.
Compare and contrast to the EVangelical politicians and associated climate grifters calling for legislative bans against ICE motor vehicles by 2032 or 2035 or whatever. There was never a ban on horse-drawn conveyances within city limits by 1912 or whatever.
Your argument fails.
