The news media reports on the use of Cs in the battery electrolyte are not as interesting as the paper published in Nature Communications:

Adding CsNO3 to the electrolyte has been shown to decrease charging time without reducing battery cycles. It is the first scientific paper published to discuss the effect of CsNO3.
Now, if only the battery industry could find a new source of non-China caesium... Oh wait, there may be one.
