It was the link in my first post which shows a blank space for me (boxed in red) on multiple browsers.



I created the archived link in my second post to circumvent the issue.

I use Old HotCopper and use the BBCode editor for posting.

BBCode uses tags for various things like formatting and URLs.

When posting links, you enclose the URL inside the tags.

In this example it would be:

[url]https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cm28mg3zkmxo[/url]

HC converts some links into media type tags to show videos inline etc. (Although, I wasn't posting a video, which is weird).

In the case of me posting the BBC link above, it converted it to:

[media=BBC]XXXXXX[/media]

Where I've put the "XXXXXX", there was nothing.
It should have put the URL there, but the automated conversion is broken.

...Unless you're saying you can click that link in my first post, in which case I feel persecuted, haha.
