One thing I've been thinking and I could be way off the mark as I'm a sparky and not a share market analyst. But CATL have their $2B IPO happening soon so they can build their 24 gigawatt-hour mega factory. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if CATL wanting to secure an off-take agreement before the prices get too crazy is one of the reasons the Lithium market is suppressed as of late. They won't need the Lithium until "x" date in the future but I'm sure they don't want to pay future prices when they're ready to sow up supply. Not sure how they'd go about doing that but I'm sure Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank now how to do it.......given the past month!!!
