To the original poster, my 2 cents :
Lithium is a much smaller market than copper , iron ore etc and doesnt really have a broadly quoted price and publicly traded exchange etc.. it's value per ton is generally at a spot price, which can be rather opaque.
(which is why PLS started up their lithium purchase website)
Good places to read up on this are Benchmark minerals and the like, Joe Lowry is good to follow on Twitter as a starting point.
Take what large banks say with a very large grain of salt, as they are usually doing the opposite of what they say.
