    IMO the important thing from these drills is to find pegs at depth - not all pegs in a lithium field have got the spod - the pegs themselves are zoned, and so is the swarm.

    First graphic shows the zoning within the swarm. Then the photo (second graphic) shows a single spod crystal due to zoning within the pegmatite.

    I understand that the pegs themselves are a low melting point component in the intrusion which spits them out as it cools and contracts, the spod itself crystalizes out within a certain zone from the granite.

    However because we have some Li chips at surface IMO there is a good chance we will stumble upon a couple of nice fertile pegs in these first exploratory drills. I have a lot of confidence in the GRE geo team. But only the drills and patience will tell.
