The ultra thin anode material that Li-Metal has developed, makes it possible to manufacture batteries suited to aviation applications.
The batteries will be cheaper, be more energy dense, be safer and lighter than any other batteries developed so far.
I see the Li-Metal technology as being similar to Calix in that the technology is especially suited to the next generation of batteries.
These batteries will revolutionise how people and goods are transported.
The way I see that this could play out, is that PLS produces low cost spodumene for Calix to produce low cost ESG friendly lithium carbonate that is then used to produce long range, light weight, energy dense solid state batteries.
