this issue works for ICE cars too. no power means no petrol from servo......unless they too have a generator. Situation only a problem for car owners who,prior to the storm, parked up with low petrol or low battery.
I do think some of these 'issue scenarios' that people bring up, assume EV owners always have batteries at 1% versus ICE owners only ever have 100% fulll petrol tanks.
The inability to charge when you live in a flat and park EV onroad is a common one. ICE owners do not have a petrol pump outside their house either.
