I expect big things from Europe- Germany in particular will want to ensure protection of automotive jobs. I can see a situation where allot more subsidies are provided to Eu manufacturing facilities that are centrally managed and controlled in the EU. They got caught with solar panels. I have been involved in a battery project personally and I know the EU are putting significant weight behind R&D grants etc. I cannot understand for the life of me why the Australian government cannot get together in a show of solidarity to really kick start the manufacturing of batteries in Australia. It's unbelievable they have the resources, they have the technical know how- it this the wild card for the pilbara?
