Sydney is set to get six public electric vehicle charging stations by next year.
Waverley, Woollahra and Randwick councils will be the first destinations in NSW to provide on-street charging stations which will be provided by Jet Charge, one of Australia’s leading electric vehicle infrastructure specialists.
Set to be in operation by mid-2019, the six stations will be located at Queen Elizabeth Drive (Bondi Beach), Spring Street (Bondi Junction), Kiaora Place shopping centre (Double Bay), Coogee Beach, Randwick Community Centre and the Silver Street car park (Randwick).
The stations will also be suitable for all vehicles, according to Jet Charge, who says the stations provide open source level 2 AC charge.
