Lithium supply reality check: EV sales potential in 2023
In summary, even 30% growth will eventually outrun the optimistic future supply (optimistic as supply expansions hardly ever follow company projections).
Assumes,
* 30% growth (we had 58% in 2017, 62% in 2018 and so far 40% in 2019)
* 0.85kg LCE/kwh (probably on the low side too).
* Smooth lithium supply expansion (not likely if history is a judge)
