    But it's up to every owner to have their batteries charged. It'll be the same problem even if your car runs on petrol, a supply interruption means your car won't run.

    Solution for EV owners truly concerned about getting stranded: get a solar storage system.

    At least there's that option. Petrol car owners do not have that option, unless they want to store highly combustible materials at home.
