Livent has said the current pricing of Li Chemicals is unsustainable.
This means that to meet demand there are some producers that are having to sell below cost.
Livent happens to be on the very far left side of the marginal cost of production curve for LiOH. The majors are fighting for market share and the independents are seriously struggling.
