Some interesting findings from trip in Shanghai and Hangzhou:
1. a Nissan Leaf Uber driver said it costs 6-9 cents (RMB)/km to run, an ICE car cost 70-90 cents (RMB)/km to run.
2. Shanghai just started to replace 50,000 ICE taxis to EV taxis. Usually, a taxi's lifespan in Shanghai is 3 years.
3. Shanghai has over 150,000 Uber EVs already
4. Shanghai also started to replace natural gas buses to EV buses,, and that is 22,000 buses to be replaced.
5. Hangzhou has less EV cars but more EV buses than Shanghai
6. had a close try with both Nio ES8 and ES6, both are nice and spacious SUV. Personally prefer ES8 for the space and message seat.
