Ah I think personally, there'll still be a need for ICE cars, just because it's so much easier (at least for the moment) to bring spare fuel when crossing a landmass as big as Australia (for instance) or the middle east for that matter. I don't think they will go away for a long time, but if you've ever seen the life cycle of oil report (I forget the name of the guy who did it like way back in the 70's or 60's or something) oil definitely has a cost>benefit ratio that runs out long before the oil itself.
