Ford CEO just confirmed they are considering making its own batter cells. This is a complete turnaround from their previous position and is just the start of a larger industry trend. Tesla got things rolling with plans to vertically integrate across supply chain to guarantee quality and consistency and control. It makes a lot of sense so of course Ford will do the same. Others will follow and then we have a fight on our hands: who ever controls the battery and it's inputs will control mobility. The crunch is looming and what better place to park $$$ than in PSC with Arcadia.
