I'm off topic but interested in reading your point " whether a government would forego fuel taxes " on disruptive innovation, along with the employment changes that will happen across the board.

Who is taxed to recover revenue lost to mass automation, how is the unemployed going to be compensated, or are they ? I'll be fading out of the work force before this truly kicks in but probably do have a buffer being in a creative industry.
Tony Seba's message of the oil industry becoming almost redundant could also happen to many jobs and income sources that we think are safe.
