The issue with exploring in such a way, shifting from commodity to commodity is that you are always on the back foot. Picking up maybe ground and releasing ad hoc anouncemets for the sake of spiking the share price and doing a CR for the sake of keeping ones job for another couple of years. Very few orebodies are found this way.
I agree Li has a bright future but the issue with such botique commodities is that a single high grade orebody can wreck the market for all other players as happened with Lynas and Srayah for REE and graphite, respectively.
In the case of Li the market wrecker will be the huge Jadar deposit in Serbia which Rio Tinto holds and will come online at some point.
In regards to RMR finding nickel I think this is highly likely due to the proven prospectivity which BUX has shown and the size and strength of RMR's conductors which appear to be associated with the ruins dolerite.
I've discussed these points in the past. My only qualm is that these have not been drilled yet and updates are thin on the ground.
