They will eventually, so get into the ground floor now on the one your research shows as most promising, sure. In 5-10 years you will be laughing all the way to the bank if your pick was correct.
But I've seen a lot of posts on PLS threads over the last year acting as if technologies just entering commercialisation are going to immediately tank a proven, mature and established chemistry with billions in trade, production facilities, warehouse stock and mining.
Sure, technology is developing exponentially faster these days, but not that fast.
It is akin to saying, "I saw an article on a Quantum computer development company last week and they are soon to IPO! Therefore I should immediately divest from all existing computer hardware manufacturers, Apple, HP and all are sure to be dead within 12 months! I'm certain they will be forced by the market to dump their entire production line into the tip tomorrow!"
