"If a country disregards ICSID rulings, it may be viewed as unreliable by international investors, which can deter future investment and economic development. Other measures could be imposed by the aggrieved investor's home country or the international community"

It's been more than three weeks, and the DRC is still ignoring that ICSID ruling. If they keep this up it may damage their reputation and scare off investors. Doubt the Aussie government will step in or have any sway if it did. So, does Nigel have a backup plan if the DRC just shrugs and says, 'whatever, who cares'?

If the DRC keeps brushing off the issue, why would the Chinese bother making an offer? Unless Dathcom gets its mining license back or some kind of deal is put together involving ALL parties, why would the Chinese feel motivated to shell out anything? If the DRC keeps ignoring AVZ, chances are the Chinese will do the same.

So, is Nigel ready with Plan B if the DRC keeps brushing off the rules, or are we staring down the barrel of having month at the end of the money?
