AVZ should be accepted as owner and developer of the project ; Chinese companies as engineers and consumers of the resource ; DRC as the ultimate owners and beneficiaries of the resource . So three key stakeholders need to work together to agree roles , responsibilities and path forward . It’s the alternative three-way model that has to be accepted and “allowed” to comprise the forward-looking strategies for the unlocking of DRC / Africa resources and therefore ensuring a west-China healthy , equitable co-operation for benefit of all .
