Mate,
Just got back from being stuck in Singapore from Qantas dispute. Singapore Airlines happily put us straight on a connecting flight - so professional, well groomed, polite, courteous etc.
Made a big change from Qantas flight over. Staff being slovenly, miserable union heiffers. Filthy, disgusting twenty year old 747. Plane ran out of toilet paper. Staff fed dinner straight away at 430PM then stood around gossiping in the galley for the rest of the flight. The usual union suffocation of Australian business stuff.
Good on you Joyce, deworm this union riddled dog before its too late. I suffered no real inconvenience thanks to Singapore Airlines. A great display of how it should be done. Qantas International is now completely non- competitive. A mate of mine is a Qantas 747 pilot on $450k, completely out of touch with what is going on around the world and demanding more.
Joyce has done a great job with Jetstar, creating a modern competitive airline. Can he save Qantas international? Let us hope so!
Make the Union members line back up to reapply for their jobs then explain at the interview why they deserve a job at all.
