I think we have pretty good grounds under both the corporations act and common law to get this over and done with.
In my opinion a reasonable person would agree that the directors are in clear breach of their duties and they must be held accountable. They have suggested to having been made an offer for the bulk of the remaining assets at a figure not too far below their reported value but have turned it down without even putting it forward to members despite the purpose of the company as it exists now being to hold the remaining assets until they can be sold. Attempts to sell the assets of the company can surely be described as inadequate by a reasonable person.
Im going to find out tommorow how much it will cost to get this sorted and if there is a quick and easy way to get some remedies ordered. Will update in more detail soon.
