I didn't lose money on GNS and actually I made quite a bit of money from it.

This was because I bought GNS shares at $1.80 a share (cum $0.30/s special dividend) years before its 1:4 split, and I sold them around $2-$3 (equivalent to $8-$12 before the 1:4 split), when I saw GNS bought Auspine (among many other items) at an extravagant price.

This was also why I always yell "sell" after that time (as you may remember).
