I totally agree but the irony is that the share price has never performed better than over the period where there wasnt one.

It is a credit to the staff and Board that the work has been recognised over this period while there has not been a figurehead actively explaining or promoting it. As I have said before, my fear is that the lack of public leadership has led to some long standing investors selling out early (especially those who departed late last year) simply through a lack of understanding about how much progress had been achieved that has been evidenced now by Genetech payments and the attraction of certain Board members. Obviously some investors have bought into the story as well to lift the SP but it is pretty easy to buy after the obvious facts are out there - I know I have been doing so since Dec and again since the directors announcement.

My PYC for dummies post was meant to broaden the understanding of potential investors but the audience was really small and probably 80% of the readers were already invested anyway.
