The interview was done during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and he talks about a speech he made at the 2009 Master Investor Conference, so that dates the interview at August 2009.
The whole interview is worth reading. Mellon is an intersting multi-facetted individual and he is going to give his fortune away to charities and medical research.
