Apart from people in the know, (Gold Bugs, and Pro investors chasing the sectors), little is known about Aussie Gold mining companies especially the overseas investment community. Those in the general investment community in Australia and overseas, Think Gold as a barbarous relic, as most analysts were not born in the last Gold boom era, and were taught in universitiess that Gold is dead, and a relic - latest comments by Mr Costello, re-inforces that view.

Now imagine when the lemmings start catching on, i.e they find out about the next hot sector, from the front pages of newspapers and the bulletin, GOLD will zoom beyond belief in the mania stage - going to the MOON , and SILVER will leave the UNIVERSE - per Doug Casey's comments.

Now this may be a few years away, but it wil happen, so now is a good time to really make the effort, to sus out some good up and coming junior producers, or those with proven resources in the ground, as these will do the best. In the last Boom of the late 70's early eighties, many stocks priced in the below 30 cents areas, went to over $100 dollars, even up to $300 dollars. Even some wally, over promoted stocks that were promoted with skill and that had nothing but more than PR done very well.

However, there is a skill in knowing when to get out, and not get caught up, in the final blow off stage, and ending up in tears - the general community driven by greed. Off course people here on H.C will be sipping pina cooladas, (Made with GOBLINS infamous PINEAPPLES), somewhere in the Carribean, never needing to work ever again.
