Unless my Chinese neighbour lied to me, I was led to believe that every main land Chinese person here in Australia or elsewhere was a member of the Communist party. Simply because if they didn’t tick that box they don’t get a passport, they can’t get into university and they are restricted on travel within their own country.
I don’t understand the sudden shock horror because a Chinese person in Australia had links to the Chinese Communist Party. They all do.
