You have been given the wrong info on this.....
Live sheep to most M/EAST importers have to be very light in weight....therefore the farmers and exporters are quiet happy with the money they get.
These sheep are old growers that have come to the end of their productive life.
Why the paks treat them when they are exactly what they want is a mystery.Only a small group were diseased....and it is only on their say so.
The animals would have been seen by Aussie vets before leaving.
The alterative for this type of sheep is to die in the paddocks.
Lesser of 2 evils some may say.
But that is farming.
