The whole business makes no sense.
a) The animals would need to be fed and nurtured for some time for the meat quality to be any good.
b) butchered and chilled bodies would be cheaper to ship(no feed and water, less weight, less space, less crew and less handling expenses at both ends).
c) some extra jobs on our shores.
