on 2gb radio now, they say there are over 100,000 cattle in Indonesia waiting for a cruel and tortured existence until death...that is just an estimate...

they were shipping extra cattle to Indonesia in the past 2 months, flooding indonesia with the cattle, in expectation of the imminent ban, once the story broke

the cattle have been sent to that place for 20 years, all australian authorities have known exactly how they were tortured, and did nothing about it...

my biggest concern right now, is will those cattle stopped from the ships, now be left in the yards at the ports, to starve to death....
who will look after them, who will spend the money to transport them back to the farms...will the farmer accept them...
if the university in the NT, can starve more than 800 animals, in front of everyone, and not be held accountable...nothing has changed there...
then dont expect these fed govnuts to take any responsibility for their actions either..

we give indonesia half a billion dollars a year...for nothing in return...
tell the indonesians, if you want our money, and our cattle, you treat the killing of the animals humanely...

am sure they could learn how to do that within weeks, not months..
the heads and those in charge of the australian livestock exporters, including the farmers federations, should be sacked, for knowingly aiding and abetting the cruel practices...
