The middle eastern/north african Jews in Israel number nearly 5 million. In other words they greatly outnumber the European Jews who dominate them. They mostly tend to support / suck up to right wing Zionist European Jews, where they can have more influence and feel more listened to and accepted than they do with lefty European Jews. Those who DO support Palestinians are, unfortunately, in the minority.
