In hindsight, perhaps not so strange given how the ASX has tightened up on company announcement regulations given some companies were using it to release anything and everything they deemed newsworthy to try and pump the SP. Besides, the news of this publication will most likely be intended for a mention in the webinar (one would expect, esp if the SP movement today is of concern to SYC).

As stated in that article I quoted on the other thread: "Having a published patent application can be a draw to those who might be interested in purchasing a license for your work because it shows that your work has potential. Once the patent is granted, future licensees can know for sure that the work meets all requirements for a patent and your claims of originality and usefulness are warranted."

The article also states that amendments can continue to be made whilst in the "published application" status. So, perhaps that is why it has not been announced... a patent has not been granted (that much we do know). So, yeah, it wouldn't be deemed as ASX-newsworthy but pretty damn close to it. News of a licensee would be even better, mind you, hey?
