    Correct re manipulation. Being in the index also means more shares are available to be shorted. I haven’t checked shortman but funds do like to short super high growth, high val companies. Just look at what happened to ISX recently. But while shorting can be frustrating for retail, if another positive announcement comes, short covering can magnify gains significantly
