My assumption would be at the motels she stayed she had one long leed and charged up enough each night and didn't tell the motel owners that I am going to be using a lot of power over night to be able to get to the next destination. The money she spent on charging is where she was forced to pay to charge up, they post these stories without half the info and expect everyone to believe that everyone can drive that distance for that price. Sooner or later the motel owners will wake up to people like these and wonder why the motels power bill has increased 10 fold.
