re @rabbitoh and @310843B - it seems years since I ventured out for a fish but recently after 2 years of promises went out with an 85 year old neighbour to his secret spot. His first cast - a 60cm plus Lizard. My first cast - a 60cm plus lizard. His second cast - a 60 cm plus lizard. My second cast, a 60cm plus lizard. I let that one go and we went home, after promising I would never reveal the spot to any one. The next day, unexpectedly invited to go out with some one else. We fished for hours without result until I spotted a tiddly creek and thought it might be worth a cast or two. Took a while but landed a 68cm lizard. And nowhere near my neighbour's site. I think I might take up fishing again.
