….also keep in mind what a big fish like Rio Tinto is doing at Rincon to get into the Lithium space. They purchased the Rincon project in Argentina for $825M in 2022 and are spending a further $350M to build a 3,000Tpa Battery Grade Lithium Carbonate plant…..which they will no doubt upgrade in the future to a larger capacity plant. That’s $1.175B for an initial 3,000Tpa capacity….plus whatever the CAPEX will be for a larger plant in future. That gives a good indication of the preparedness of the “big fish” to spend large amounts of money to have their seat at the table and have access to a secure supply of Lithium going into the next decade.
