I think we are seeing the future. Demonstrations in Jujuy because of water lost to the environment, court action in Catamarca because of water lost to the environment. Daniel Jimenez board member of Galan clearly stating on Rock Stock interview that there is a limit to how much brine you can draw from a salar because too much and you will lower the water table. By 2030 lithium demand is set to triple. Can evaporation ponds triple? Will battery makers still accept lithium that comes from rocks which are crushed roasted at 1100 degrees centigrade milled roasted again with Sulphuric acid at 250 degrees centigrade and treated with lime and then soda ash.
The world will wake up, hard rock mining and ponds don't produce green lithium. What's the point of green batteries made from brown lithium?
