+++++++++++++++++++++++++ On the 11 April 2002 Maxe-tec's Board advised the ASX that the Company was continuing with all necessary documentation required to conclude the acquisition of the retirement village management and financial services assets of GDK Financial Solutions Pty Ltd (GDK), Sydney.
The Board also advised that Maxe-tec's financial advisors, Ernst & Young Corporate Finance Limited, were finalising their independent expert's report that is to be submitted with the notice convening the Extra Ordinary General meeting (EGM). Completion of this report and release of the notice of meeting material is imminent.
The Board has no reason to believe that the remaining conditions precedent will not be able to be satisfied in the short term, allowing the acquisition of the GDK assets to be concluded an the basis of the approvals previously announced by the company.
