If the options aren't tradeable - but are in the money - you just trade 10% of your stock holding. Sell 10% now at 42 cents - if the stock goes up exercise your options - if the stock goes below 35 cents you don't exercise the option you buy the stock cheaper. Don't tell me you can't trade the optionality here.
