If people think that the market is "illogical" they must also try to see if there IS a reason. Markets don't just "happen" there is always a reason. Maybe have a read of the other thread of the Response to Appendix to 5B Query, that might just explain that "illogical" concern.
Just using averages, it PAYS that "American Investor" to convert as much of the interest payments into ordinary shares and to sell them than it is to bank its 15% interest in cash!! On averages, the "return" on converting to shares at the VWAP and selling them after excellent reports, would result in DOUBLING their return compared to just taking the 15% cash!!!!!!!!! "Maybe" there's your "Logical" explanation!!!
