If you have a look at trading of this stock and see things like consistently good, even great, positive news, then see that things like the SP being 10 cents on 10 July and 5 trading days later it's down to 5.7 cents and see what announcements were made in that period, you might get some idea what's happening to the SP.
But, we would have to be very naive to think that ST DTs are the only ones who are looking at LKE.
LKE is possibly on the verge of transforming the entire LI exploration and production industries with, what appear to be, extremely lucrative, 100% owned, prime real estate. AND the SP (conveniently) being able to be continually, and very easily, choked down to these penny levels.
It is wide open to "opportunism",but, with just 478 million, relatively tightly held shares, a big play on the market is virtually impossible, so, nibbling, except for after those mini spike anns, has been happening for months . It's accumulation not ST penny pinching.
I'd describe it as "taking a strategic position". Nuff said.
I just hope that Steve doesn't grab any more hand outs from that "North American investor with a head office in New York" and gets rid of that current loan ASAP, or, not allow any more of those notes to be converted. (they MAY be converted).
