Hedge funds went short LKE based purely on Steve P resigning, selling his shares and availability of stock borrow after it went into the ASX200. None of these funds know anything about the stock, likelihood of Lilac DLE succeeding and have been trying to close out positions over the last two weeks without any success....simply no volume on the offer and what's there is largely from short sellers trying to cap the stock. As such, none of good news over the last weeks has been priced in. Hoping we get some positive demo plant news in the next few days to drive the nails further into the coffin.
