A recent interview (26th August) of John Miller (a Policy Researcher with Cowen) by Howard Klein of The Rock Stock Channel, clearing up a lot of the specific details on the Inflation Reduction Act...including discussion around critical minerals and specifically talking about Lithium from Argentina (22:15 - 27:00 minute marks).

Essentially, the US Government will be looking at a number of ways to include the acceptance of Argentinian Lithium to qualify it for the subsidies related to Biden's Inflation Reduction Act. One of the clearer ways that this could be done is to formulate a critical mineral specific Free Trade Agreement between the US and Argentina!

Let's hope we don't hear any more bunkum around future Lithium product from Argentina definitely being excluded from the subsidies available through the Inflation Reduction Act any further. We can cross that FUD off the list!
