its quite common actually - technically its not supposed to happen but alot of pretend bids and sells get thrown on the order book to either make it look like there will be strong support at a certain level or make it look like someone wants to dump at a certain level (generally larger positions tend to average in in smaller parcels)

say I wanted to get my parcel filled at a lower level - I'd stack the sell side to hopefully scare away retail punters from entering as they would think a dump was coming

or the opposite if I was short
