Hey gassed, that's correct mate, shorters will help stem the bleeding by closing out their positions - it just depends on how low they think it will go.
There will be a point though where it gets too cheap fundamentally and retail steps up along with the shorters (eg. what happened when the market opened when JCAP released their report)
CPI going the wrong way with all the fed rate hikes isn't a good sign for the short term
Technically chart wise, its looking like it will fail to make a new high from the bounce at 50fib
1.30 was make or break and its looking a little bearish - I'd expect all the other short term traders to see the same thing
Only news can save us now (imo)
