Im reasonably poised after the shock announcement, but i agree with Karangas email to Stu. I wonder what the outcome might be. It might be quite positive for LKE shareholders. one thought would be ...hey you cost us 2 months, we are still mates but thats say 25000 tonnes p.a / 6 lost at a profit of say $25000 a tonne = just over 100Mil. now we are still friends so keep your 25% share potential but lets have you fund the next projects works to the tune of 100Mil.

in terms of lilac missing the deadline...yes its possible the reasons are they are distracted by Bolivia work, staffing issues and there's no Bunnings just around the corner. I would think a nice way out of this for lilac is to announce exactly where they are up to and what they have achieved and exactly what needs to be done to meet the next deadline. its a bit tricky cause they are not lake and so they don't have to answer to us other than to meet the deadlines. but...it would be nice to see we are all still friends.

First time ive changed my sentiment to hold....so that's saying something.
