The big picture is that lilac are looking to the future, they are a newbie in the space and although lake are their big win at the moment they will expand to others, that's just business.. lilac tech has been proven to fail with some US brine, low ppm or high concentration of other elenents, their process just didn't work at all, they found lake and unless there's been some mass testing of kachi brine that I've not seen, it's still not proven there either, it's probably got a better chance of success but at what cost, that's the big question. This should all serve as a cautionary tale on trusting a salesman, the amount of people who think lilac invented DLE, or that it's the best method or the cheapest or the most efficient, it's none of those, it's just another DLE tech company, hell a team working out of Melbourne uni have developed a DLE process which is currently being proven. Lake as far as I'm aware never tested another DLE method for kachi, they got won over by David Syndacker and his confidence, signed the deal and gave them a big stake, they couldve took their time and tested multiple methods but greed and ambition have been rampant on this project
